Ok so, I`m 13 and I want a very short boyish hairstyle.

My hair is this curly:

maybe a little bit tighter and it goes to like the middle of my back.

What are some short ways to cut it. I don`t want it all off but i just want to have a decent but short haircut with a certain style to it. I have like no experience doing hair so I`m going to get it done professional. I`m the type of girl to comb my hair back into a ponytail but i`m so freaking tired of having the hassle every morning to tame my hair in the morning (which is a huge Afro-like puff ball) only to put it into a ponytail, I like it short anyway. (:
